Nomad Electric Services expands O&M footprint in Romania. Our pipeline reaches 260 MWp solar and 350 MWh BESS

Nomad Electric Services continues to advance its international expansion strategy, solidifying its position across Central and Eastern Europe. The company’s engineering team has recently taken over Operations & Maintenance (O&M) for another solar power plant in Romania, further establishing the country as one of its fastest-growing international markets.

Romania is rapidly emerging as a primary hub for renewable energy investments in the CEE region, driving high demand for bankable, tech-driven asset management and O&M services. With this latest onboarding, Nomad Electric Services’ local pipeline has grown to encompass over 260 MWp of utility-scale solar PV projects and more than 350 MWh of battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Driving grid stability and decarbonization

As the capacity of intermittent renewable generation increases, maintaining power quality and grid stability becomes paramount. Integrating large-scale battery storage with solar infrastructure addresses these grid balancing requirements directly. By leveraging advanced real-time monitoring software alongside dedicated field engineering teams, Nomad Electric Services delivers maximum Performance Ratio (PR) and operational continuity for renewable assets.
