Nomad Electric, a leading provider of renewable energy services, has signed its first Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract in Germany. The project involves the construction of a 20 MWp photovoltaic power plant, marking another significant milestone in the company’s international expansion.
Having entered the German market in 2024, Nomad Electric offers investors a comprehensive suite of services, including EPC, Operations & Maintenance (O&M), and its proprietary system SCADA Nomad NX, designed for remote management of utility-scale renewable energy assets.
“This inaugural project in Germany is more than just a stepping stone in our global expansion; it is a testament to the trust we have built among investors in key European markets..” said Izabela Mielniczuk, Director of International Business Development at Nomad Electric. “With an in-depth understanding of local market dynamics and an extensive network of partners, we provide tailored, end-to-end solutions. Our ambition is to become the first choise partner for investors. We are already working on contracting other projects in Germany, laying a solid foundation for our long-term growth across Europe. By prioritizing quality, innovation, and the expertise of our team, we are well-positioned to achieve our ambitious goals and actively contribute to a sustainable energy future.”
Expanding across European markets
The German project is part of Nomad Electric’s broader European growth strategy. The company has successfully developed and energized 45 MWp of photovoltaic installations in Portugal, is currently constructing a 24 MWp plant, and has ongoing projects in Romania totaling 12 MWp. Beyond solar energy, Nomad Electric also has the capabilities to operate wind power plants and battery energy storage systems (BESS). To combine these technologies, we offer an advanced, in-house developed system SCADA Nomad NX, that optimizes renewable energy asset management, minimizes downtime risks, and enhances the financial stability of investments. “Our mission is to provide clients with comprehensive solutions that ensure not only high-quality execution but also investment security. Our portfolio currently includes over 700 MWp in EPC, 1.8 GWp in O&M, and 1.5 GWp in SCADA Nomad NX.” Mielniczuk emphasized.
With a strong track record and a commitment to innovation, Nomad Electric continues to expand its footprint across Europe, reinforcing its position as a trusted leader in renewable energy services.
