New Operations and Maintenance PV contract in Portugal

Nomad Electric has signed an operations and maintenance PV (O&M) contract with a leading developer of utility-scale renewable energy projects, to provide O&M support for a solar plant in Portugal with a capacity close to 30MWp.

By signing this contract, Nomad Electric boosts its utility-scale PV management portfolio in Portugal to 99 MWp, marking another step in the company’s expansion in the Iberian Peninsula. The company is a leader in renewable energy Operations and Maintenance (O&M), with a total project portfolio of 1.8 GWp. Nomad Electric will provide services including, among others, reactive, preventive, corrective maintenance, reporting or warranty checks to ensure the highest reliability and asset performance standards. The in-house O&M services team is based near the plant location, supporting local activity and employment.

“It is a great satisfaction to have gained investor trust and signed another O&M contract. We are committed to ensuring that every power plant under our management achieves industry-leading uptime and performance. Our growth in EU markets, paired with years of experience, puts us in a position to serve international investors with PV assets across multiple markets,” said Paweł Muszyński, Chief Commercial Officer at Nomad Electric.

The role of O&M services is crucial for maintaining efficient energy production and ensuring the long-term maximization of solar investments. In addition to its O&M, Nomad Electric has over 505 MWp in its EPC portfolio. The company has a hi-tech Monitoring Centre in Poland that supports over 800 power plants with a proprietary system SCADA Nomad NX, with a portfolio of 1.5 GWp. This comprehensive solution is dedicated to monitoring, supervising, and managing generation sources in the renewable energy sector, designed to maximize plant efficiency and reliability.
